Domestic violence is one of the major causes of family homelessness nationwide. In multiple studies, over 80% of homeless mothers with children had survived domestic violence.

At @catchidaho, an Idaho nonprofit that supports families experiencing homelessness, 44% of the families they assisted in the last year were escaping domestic violence.
