But it is not the only driver.

Our analysis found other causes are often missing from media coverage, like:

- Domestic violence
- Overcrowded housing

Understanding the full picture is essential to understanding the problem and developing effective solutions.

We hope this analysis is useful to organizations working across homelessness and domestic violence, including @hsunited_org, @nysopdv, and @newdestinyhousing.
