Students experiencing homelessness are more likely than their housed peers to fall behind or drop out of school.

@pbs @newshour covered the crisis of student homelessness in the US, and how one Kansas City school district is supporting their students experiencing homelessness. By providing housing, job assistance, and other resources, the program helps create stability, leading to better school attendance, improved learning, and healthier lives for students.
